What makes a password strong?
A strong password is long, random and unique, mixing upper and lower case letters, digits and symbols so it cannot be guessed or cracked quickly. Aim for at least 16 characters, avoid names, dates and repeated words, and never reuse the same password across important accounts.
Is my generated password stored anywhere?
No, every password is created inside your browser using your device's secure random generator. Nothing is sent to a server, saved in a file or shared with NNC Flow, so you should copy it immediately and store it in a trusted password manager.
How long should my password be?
Longer is safer, and 16 to 20 characters is a good balance for most accounts. Use 24 characters or more for email, banking and other high-value accounts, and combine length with a mix of character types rather than relying on a short, complex password alone.
What does exclude ambiguous characters do?
It removes characters that look alike, such as the letter O and the number zero, or a lowercase L and the number one. This helps when you must type a password by hand, read it aloud or copy it from a screen, reducing typing mistakes.
